Recent addition to Team FKAky had a spectacular pitching performance today. He went 7 innings and gave up only 3 hits while striking out 9 batters. If he hadn't gotten nailed in his first start of the week he would be up for a POW nomination.
Keep up the good work and hopefully he will continue this type of pitching for the foreseeable future. With the subtraction of Maddux from our pitching staff we need more players like him to step up and pitch well.
Chad was originally drafted by Team FKAky but was dropped after being hurt early on in the season. He was then picked up in the free agency by the Diggleturb's but was dropped shortly after being picked up. With Jason Schmidt going down for the year, I thought that it would be worth a gamble on him since he got promoted to the starting rotation. Hopefully he will stay on for the remainder of the year with Team FKAky. He has a huge upside as he can strike out a bunch of batters, as he displayed today, and has great control and he is pitching in a great pitchers park too.
