Week 8 Forecast

This should make for an interesting match up this week. Team FKAky go up against the Heaters, a team that they made a trade with this past week. The Heaters got Chris Duncan in exchange for Dan Wheeler. Since I am behind in posting this forecast, Chris Duncan has already hit 1 homerun and driven in 3 Rbi's. I wrote a quick email to the Heaters GM asking for Duncan back but he laughed and said "We'll see..." I am not getting my hopes up.

I did the Old Way of doing Roto last week and the Heaters were in dead last (34.5 pts) while I was clinging to second place (91.5 pts). The points changed a lot after my pitching debacle last week but there seems to be some distance between the two teams.

There are two guys that bring fear into my eyes on the Heaters, Ken Griffey Jr and Albert Pujols. Griffey has 9 homeruns going into this weeks matchup and Pujols is starting to heat up. This could be bad for my team. I hold the slight edge with 8 starters against his 7.

Update:
Chris Duncan hit his second homerun this week against his former team.

I am calling for a blow out this week though, Team FKAky 10 the Heaters 2. My pitching will regain its form and will carry me to victory this week. That is if Chris Duncan doesn't hit 5 Hr's this week.
