Player of the Week - Week 4

Here is the link to the article that I wrote up for Player of the Week for Week 4.

Hitting of the Week

Barry Bonds had another noteworthy week. His stats for the week where
2 Hr's, 5 Rbi's, 5 R's, .385 Avg, 1.538 OPS, 12 BB's and 7 IBB's.

Teams are starting to fear Barry. He is at 742 total homeruns for his career just in case you weren't aware.

Pitcher (Hancock) of the Week

Jake Peavy was co-winner with Jeff Suppan this week. Peavy stroke out nine consective batters in a row in his first game this past week. He ended up with a total of 16 in 7 innings. He followed that up by striking out 10 in his next outing. He almost averaged 2 strikeouts per inning last week. CRAZY INSANE! He even had a better ratio of K-BB's then half the other team's in our league.

Congratulations to Jake and Barry!
