Kent's a double machine

Jeff Kent doubled three times, drove in two runs and walked Thursday in the win over the Astros.

The three doubles moved him past Frank Robinson and Al Oliver into 29th place on the all-time list with 530. Next up is Lou Gehrig at 534.

Has Jeff Kent really been playing that long to have over 530 doubles? He doesn't seem to be that old but who I am trying to kid? I guess if you can't hit homeruns, doubles are the next best thing.
