Jorge Sosa pitched a great game yesterday. Jorge pitched 8 innings of shutout ball against the Detriot Tigers. It was the first time that the Tigers have been shutout all season.
Before the deadline for lineup changes where due this week, I contemplated benching Jorge in favor of Jason Hirsh who was seeing double action this week. At the last moment I decided to stick with Jorge and I am now glad that I did. Jorge is now 6-1 for the season and has a 2.64 era and a .992 whip for the season.
