An MRI on Carlos Beltran's right knee came back negative. He's day-to-day with a bruise.
Beltran isn't in Friday's lineup. The Mets have Endy Chavez playing center, David Newhan in left and Ben Johnson in right.

Rickie Weeks was examined by the doctor who performed his wrist surgery last August and he confirmed Weeks has tendinitis in his right wrist.

Weeks will receive a cortisone shot and then not touch a baseball for around a week. He should be able to come off the disabled list on the first day he is eligible.
