The main reason behind the deadlock was the performance of ex-closer Brad Lidge. He came in and pitched a perfect inning while striking out the side. It looked like team FKAky would win the K-BB category after seeing Dontrelle Wills come out of his game with a 0 K-BB ratio. They also seemed to have that category locked up until Mike Gonzalez came into pitch and gave up 1 walk while striking out no one. The K-BB ratio was then tied at 22. JJ Hardy also came up big for the Chowers, hitting two homeruns and giving them another crucial half point that seemed like it would go to team FKAky.
