I got one of the two guys that I put in bids for this week. I got Scott Hairston (OF, ARI) for a $3 bid but I lost out on Henry Owens (RP, FLA) with my $2 bid.
I really wanted Owens and I was hoping that he could help out my team in the saves category but I lost out when the Poppers made an outrageously large bid on him ($11) to capture his services for the time being. The Florida closing situation is a mess for the time being and he looked like he would step in and gain a few saves here and there. But his save opportunities might be short lived with the Tank (Taylor Tankersley) being activated this week.

I upped the bid to $11 when I sensed that Kelley will outbid me for the next Marlins closer.
I'm calling Owens for at least 20 saves. Tank walks too many.
Your crazy spider sense kicked in and you upped the bid? Good for you, not!
I had originally thought about an $8 bid but then I thought to myself, "Are you crazy! Save some money for when a real closer gets traded to the NL." So hopefully I will still have some left when that point comes, and hopefully it will happen soon.
20 saves? It seems like you are trying to make him sound more appealing then he actually is. Trade bait?
