So it looks like Saturday's pitching match up will play huge part in figuring out who will win this weeks battle between the Beaners and the FKAky.
The Beaners have the following pitchers starting:
Cole Hamels (6 Inn's, 1 W, 5 ER's, 8 Hit's, 0 BB, 3 K's)
Jason Schmidt (2 Inn's, 1 L, 5 ER's, 7 Hit's, 2 BB's, 2 K's)
I start the following pitchers:
Chris Capuano (Rainout Friday pushes his start to Monday)
Barry Zito (rained out; double header on Sunday, will pitch the first game. - double header rained out on Sunday, no makeup date has been provided.)
Jake Peavy (7 Inn's, 1 W, 1 ER's, 3 H's, 2 BB's, 3 K's)
Peavy and Schmidt battle each other so that should make for an interesting game to watch/follow.
After Saturday's games, I only have Braden Looper (Sunday) pitching while the Beaners still have Doug Davis (Sunday), Oliver Perez (Monday), and Jeff Francis (Monday) pitching. Hopefully Perez will walk another 7 guys (not included is 1 HBP too). Hopefully I can put some distant between us in Innings, ERA, KK-BB's, and Whip by the time his other pitchers start.
