This week the FKAky's play Brian's Box Chowders. Not sure what a Box Chowder is but I know they don't serve it at Mo's. Last week the Box Chowders dominated the Utility Men and now post a 1 and 1 record. His team's strengths is pitching. If you compare the year to date stats in pitching for both teams, they are quite similar with the only major differences is in saves (Him 8, me 5). For the week I have one extra starter (9 to 8) but we know how the elements can quickly change that. For pitching categories I am going to give him the slight edge, 3.5 to 2.5.
Hitting is another story. The year to date stats give me a significant advantage in, HR's, SB's, Avg, and OPS. He has Carlos Lee and my big dog, Soriano, is out this week. If Rickie Weeks and Jimmy Rollins stay on fire it will help make up for the lack of Soriano. When all is said and done, I think the Box's will have the advantage only in RBI's and R's this week and thus the edge is to me, 4 to 2.
So it looks like it will be a close match up this week, with the FKAky's predicted to win, 6.5 to 5.5.
