2nd Week Forecast

This week I am dueling the Beaner's (Jim). He is 1-0 and started the season off with an impressive win against the Box Chowers (11-1). He has 7 starting pitchers going this week for him against 6 for my team. Hopefully I can get a few bad starts from him to help me out. His starters have gotten off to a great early start. Hopefully the will cool off and get hammered. The key for my rotation is Zito. He got nailed during his last two starts and has an ERA above 8.00.

He has two guys that strike fear in my team. The first is David Wright and the other is Billy Wagner. David Wright is an all-around 5 category stud. Hopefully he will cool down and Beltran and Soriano will start hitting for me. I am already weak in the saves category and if Wagner goes off this week and he gets a few saves under his belt early, I might be screwed out of that category early. Rollins might be the X factor this week. He had 3 homeruns (one inside-the-park HR) last week and I am hoping his power surge will continue on into week 2.

When everything is said and done, I am hoping for a close 7-5 win over the Beaners. Only time will tell though.
